PAtrick Fitzgerald
Patrick Fitzgerald is a teacher at Hamden Hall Country Day School. He got his BA in chemistry at Vassar College and his PhD in marine science at Stony Brook University. He did his dissertation research using uranium-series radionuclides to study carbon cycling and thermohaline circulation in the Atlantic Ocean. He previously conducted research into the fate of cationic surfactants in New York Harbor as a Tibor T. Polgar fellow in association with the Hudson River Foundation. Patrick now teaches chemistry and math, and he mentors student research projects investigating waters in the New Haven area.
